Trauma can leave us stuck in a cycle of reliving an incident and holding feelings of guilt, shame and anger for what happened. I can help you to reclaim your life and process traumatic memories using evidence based techniques.

OCD

Obsessive thoughts can vary in themes for example harm OCD, religious OCD and contamination OCD. I can support you in overcoming your compulsive behaviours by helping you to identify their role in maintaining your intrusive thoughts. 

Health Anxiety

If you are frequently distressed by worry that something is wrong in your body, despite medical professionals confirming you are healthy, I can help you to break away from behaviours of avoidance, reassurance seeking and checking.

Social Anxiety

Using techniques I can help you quieten self critical voices that tell you "I'm going to embarrass myself" or "I look stupid". If these voices are holding you back from interacting with others, we can work together to gain confidence in social situations.

Panic

I can provide you with tools to reduce the misinterpretation of physical symptoms of anxiety like such as a racing heart being interpreted as an oncoming heart attack. I can offer you tools to help you understand your body and challenge such beliefs, enabling you to let go of comfort behaviours such as avoidance of specific environments.

Low Self Esteem

Together we can get to the root of challenges that have affected the way you see and value yourself and empower you to feel confident in living your life through challenging negative assumptions. 

Phobias

If you experience a fear of a particular object or situation, I can offer you the techniques to prevent avoidance and challenge your beliefs about your ability to cope when coming into contact with the feared object/situation using evidence based techniques.
